Coaching Philosophy:

            Coaching is the intersection of two of my passions: teaching and volleyball. As an educator, I enjoy helping students grow and learn. I look forward to combining my teaching background with my love for the game of volleyball. Volleyball has always held a place in my heart, so coaching is the perfect blend of my passions and my strengths. As a coach, I plan to instill a hard work ethic into my athletes and to teach them to be resilient in the face of adversity, all while having fun! Much of my goal setting will be to improve performance, increase skills, create achievement, change statistics, and win games. But winning isn’t my sole purpose. As an educational-based coach, I would like to use my platform to leave students with rich life lessons that they will take with them and use long after they stop playing their sport.
