I love that Thunder is like its own little family. We support each other through everything. We help each other learn and get better. I’ve gotten to play with some of the same girls for 3 years now, and I love them all so much. They have become some of my best friends, and I would have never met them if it wasn’t for Thunder. They push me to be a better player, and they make me a better person. I have learned so much from Thunder over the past couple years, and I wouldn’t be who I am today without Thunder.

Thunder Volleyball has skilled coaches who care for each and every players ability. Our daughter started with the Thunder program when she was 13. She played until she aged out. Volleyball was in her blood so she was an assistant coach for the U13's team. After graduation from college she played indoor and sand vb. She coached last year and will coach again. Why, because Thunder Volleyball is more than a game. It's friendships, team work on and off the court. Families come together and also becoming friends.

Without Thunder I wouldn’t be the person I am today.  It brings me a lot of joy thinking back to when I played for such a fun community-based program. The difference between Thunder and other programs that my college teammates played is the level of competition mixed with the hard work ethic that was expected of us by the coaches. Some of my college teammates came from teams that were playing “in the moment” whereas Thunder sets you up for a future volleyball career. Thunder gave me the confidence, skill, and team player attitude [to play club volleyball at University of Wisconsin, River Falls]. With the University of Wisconsin-River Falls club volleyball team I was able to travel to Houston, Kansas City, Dallas, and Reno. Until now, I really truly never realized how much of an impact Thunder has made on my life. I truly feel blessed.

I love my Thunder family. I learned so much and have improved as a player so much through Thunder volleyball club. Thunder not only taught me to be a better volleyball player but also helped me improve my mental toughness. My teammates and coaches are amazing and I always looked forward to going to practices to see their friendly faces.
